Phil Ponish, Bass

Phil's love of music began at the age of five with the sound of his father's violin, and from then music has not been just a hobby for him, but a way of life. Although his formal training was on French horn, he now plays various stringed instruments - mandolin, fiddle, guitar, and of course bass. In addition to having played in many groups, from duets to big bands, he also plays many styles of music including jazz, rock, country, and bluegrass. A resident of Howard, PA, Phil also plays in the Keystone Society of Swing, the Lockport Drifters, and the Loose Cannons.
