| Jim is an ex-Navy musician, attended Penn State,
and is now a retired instrumental teacher. His skill in playing is
recognized by twenty years of playing for various shows at the
Hershey Arena, and for bands that travel through our region and
borrow him. He sets the style and pace for the front line of our
band and has written several tunes including the music and words for
the Lewistown High School alma mater and fight song and five
Dixieland arrangements for concert band and symphony orchestra. Jim
says joining the Deacons was like getting a breath of fresh air and
energy. |
