Jim is an ex-Navy musician, attended Penn State, and is now a retired instrumental teacher. His skill in playing is recognized by twenty years playing for various shows at the Hershey Arena. and for bands that travel through our region and borrow him. He sets the style and pace for the front line of our band and has written several tunes including the music and words for the Lewistown High School alma mater and fight song and five arrangements for concert and dixieland band. Jim says joining the Deacons two years ago is like having a breath of fresh air and energy.
